*This guide works for both factions, but is tailored towards Horde. Alliance get about half as much honor but the gold should be the same.*
So today I'm going to be showing everyone my method of farming both large amounts of honor and gold. Included will be pictures of Ashran items I recommend using, buff you should have active, locations of rare treasures (there are many), and a few other little tricks to get even more out of your farming. The main focus of this guide is to avoid fighting against people, and to focus on farming mobs around Ashran. I'm going to show you how I AoE pull and what to effectively do with your time while you wait on respawns.
Before we get started I would like to go over a few things that effect your farm. First and foremost, since you are in Ashran you can sometimes run into the occasional person that wants to ruin your day. I've accidentally lost 300 or more artifacts this way due to death. Don't sweat it, there will be plenty more where that came from. Next up you can run into a little bad luck with the spawning of events. If the event spawns in the molten quarry, you will want to avoid that arena unless your faction controls it. Another thing that can effect your farm is the class you choose to play. Some classes have better AoE, healing, or invisibility. For this reason I HIGHLY RECOMMEND ELEMENTAL SHAMAN . So lets get into it.
So there is a small amount of prep work you need to do depending on your class. The majority of this guide will be played as if you are an elemental shaman since that is what I play. However my friends have proven that it can be done with almost any class, just not as effectively.
*You can carry your under geared friends to full ilvl 700 sets! Since fragments are for everyone, even if you are fighting people for farm you still can loot all the frags.*
The Buffs:
If you are NOT on an Elemental shaman:
You are going to need to buy a Swift Riding Crop. This item requires honored to purchase, but it allows you to mount instantly. This is invaluable for keeping your farm quick.
Location of the horde vendor.
Whip vendor Final.jpg
If you ARE an Elemental shaman:
You are going to want a Tablet of Ghost Wolf. This item drops off of rare spawns in Ashran, and occasionally other sources. This is our bread and butter and what makes our class the king of this farm. Instant cast, 100% run speed with ghost wolf AND we go invisible after 5 seconds out of combat. This allows us to group mobs up fast, and navigate the zone without fear of being ganked.
So at this point you are ready to farm, however before you start there is one buff I highly recommend you get BEFORE you start farming. This is just to make sure you have a fail safe in regards to getting killed and losing half your fragments.
The first two buffs you should get are the Wicked Curse and the Song Flower located in The Dark Woods.
Initial buffs Final.jpg
Wicked Curse - When you would die, instead it heals you to 75% of your hp. No death means no lost fragments. This buff is gotten by killing a Cursed Harbinger that occasionally spawn in the area INSTEAD of the normal mob spawns. They are easily spotted by the swirly purple effect that they have. If you go into this area and there are no Cursed Harbinger up, kill the mobs and come back when they respawn.
Song Flower - Item - World of Warcraft - This is a lootable item that spawns all over The Dark Woods.
Bonus buff:
Shield buff final.jpg
Boulder Shield - A very powerful shield that builds up over time. Cages spawn in Brute's Rise that when looted give you this shield. Between this and the Curse you are very hard to kill.
The Pulls:
So there are a total of 10 big pulls that a do. There are a few other random straggler mobs that I don't bother with because they just slow you down in the long run. There pulls are down in two areas. These areas are south of the Seat of Kor'lok. There is a jungle area with cat people and the Molten Quarry. The idea is just aggro the mobs in each area then pull them in and AoE them down.

At this point you will see little yellow orbs floating around. Kill these for a 100% damage/healing buff. They only take 1 hit and the buff will be needed to handle the elites and the big packs all at once.

After these pulls are done, you need to wait on respawns. This is a perfect time to go look for some of the rare treasure spawns (these items give anywhere from 20-200 fragments). Other things to look out for is pay attention to raid. If people are calling for Ring of Conquest or RoC you need to head over to the middle with the raid and kill the rare spawns there. A RoC clear is worth hundreds of frags easy.
The Gold:
Through all this mob farming, you have a small chance to get one of three drops. These items vary from server to server but are always worth alot since people dont want to farm in Ashran.

I sold one of these yesterday for 30k.
Now that I have full pvp sets, I simply farm for the Universal items and disenchanting mats from the extra pvp gear.
*I will be adding more to this soon, and a video of how I farm this whole process. More to come! There are a few other extra things I do like locations of rare treasures, and easy kill rare spawns. This is my first real attempt at a contribution so please let me know if there's anything I can do better. Also remember I will be adding more tomorrow, I just need to sleep for now. Its 1:30 am.*
Edit: More information - You also get credit towards the weeklies like 200 kills, the nearby won events, and rare spawn kills. This will net you more honor gold and conquest points while you farm. Its just a free bonus for being in the zone. You are also helping your team win Ashran. I was able to turn in around 800-900 frags every 30 minutes, making sure that wolf riders and Kronus were up all the time.
