So I'm planning on enrolling back in school this coming semester & in doing so I plan on separating myself from console gaming & going back to PC. While I will have to have the discipline to get my school work done, I find it a lot easier to be centered around self-teaching myself code from CodeAcademy & other sources & have a game that I play on my laptop. Here's the issue that lies before me. I have a HORRIBLE laptop that I cannot replace currently. I'm talking Windows Vista w/2 Gig's of RAM. I just tried running Darkscape, Runescape's newest PvP addition & this laptop cannot run that smoothly.
I just want to find something to dive into for the time being. I don't want a game that I need to go out & purchase, just something (RPG or something like LoL, OverWatch) that I can really get into for the next semester. I understand with these specs, nearly anything may cause a bit of lag or FPS issues, HOWEVER, if it's manageable to run on minimum settings I am fine with that. I used to play Maple & League on here, but when big fights would arrise I would get a bit of a spike.
* Also, if there are any cheap fixes that I can use to help boost my performance to this laptop for the time being, I am more than welcome to suggestions. I am about to move into a new place, be paying for school again, & have a lot of bills to pay for which is why a new gaming PC is not on my top list of priorities at the moment.
Thank you to all who can help me with suggestions!
