Each 100 has tons of ilevel 675 followers with the scavenger and treasure-hunter traits. Each level 100 has the max skill blacksmith and inscription professions + the inscription/blacksmith/jewelcrafter (daily) and trading post buildings for gold optimization. The 5 level 100 toons yield around 40-50k per week.
Lower levels farm characters:
